Virginia is absolutely beautiful this time of year. The colors are just gorgeous. I could kick myself for not taking more pictures of the fall colors. I think I was too busy actually looking at the trees instead of photographing them. This is a picture heavy post so let's get on with it!!

We had such a good time in Virginia!! It was non-stop but it was nice not to have to worry about kids, cook meals and do laundry. Val and Mark were wonderful hosts. We didn't have to lift a finger. I froze but it was a nice change of pace from 90 degree weather at home. Again, we didn't sleep before getting on the plane since we spend the day in DC and didn't get back to the house til late. Figured we should just take a quick cat nap before getting on the road back to DC to the airport. We left at 3:30am to catch our 6:00am flight and we still almost missed our flight! Somehow on our hunt for a gas station to fill up the rental, we got waaaaaaaaaay off track and wasted tons of time. We could have just let the rental company fill it up at their price for gas but it would have cost us over $100 for an economy car! We finally found a gas station, sped over to the drop off and then couldn't figure out how to drop off the damn car! I had to call the 800 number and ask. After that fiasco, we checked in my bag to the curbside check in guy and ran to the gate with him practically begging for a tip. We were confused about what he was talking about and after realizing what was up we worried my bag wouldn't find it's way home. Luckily it did. Phewwwww! We landed in Ontario, after spending our flight separated, dressed for ice cold weather. It was like 95 when we got to Ontario. Ugh. I'm ready to go back!
