another long one

Took the little ones to another Angel's game recently. It was photo day so we had to get there early to buy tickets and wait in line. Photo day is where a limited number of people wait on the field and get to meet the players and coaches. The hubby is a huge fan and he jumped at the chance to meet the players. Kids tickets were $3, what a bargain!! Our plan was to leave the house by 8:30am, buy our tickets, grab some food and then wait to meet the players. Unfortunately it didn't turn out that easy. We left on time (miracle for us) and got our tickets. We decided to just wait to get in then get food at the stadium. Ugh, it was miserable! It was so hot and all of us were starving and dying of thirst. At one point I thought KK was going to crumple to the ground. After we took our photos we jammed up to Carl's to get food. At this point, the kids didn't seem very hungry anymore, they just wanted drinks. It's amazing how much they jack up the prices inside the stadium. Makes me crazy but I didn't care, I needed my soda NOW! The kids also got to run the bases after the game. We were exhausted when we got home. Poor hubby had to go back to work that night so he got to take a nap.

waiting in line to get in

get outta our picture kid!!

this usher was funny...he talked the entire time...kept getting the players name's wrong...the hubby thought he was a little "too friendly" with me lol

the goofy grin remains

this little guy was cute...he kept looking behind him wondering what to do

Hay was wearing the worst shoes for this...they had a little lift to them...thought she was gonna fall and break her ankle

random mullet sighting

On Monday, July 27 Drew took off to Florida for a visit with his Uncle David, Aunt Sylvia, cousins Wylie and Spencer. Flying out of LAX is interesting. I was hoping for a celebrity sighting or two but didn't see anyone. Kinda bummed. I didn't take any pictures of Drew waiting for his flight since I'm sure that would embarrass the crap outta him but I snapped a couple in the parking garage and one right outside the garage. Him being gone for 10 days isn't all that different since he spends so much time in his room anyway. At least there aren't any crumbs on the counter, dirty laundry thrown on the floor and I don't have to get aggravated when he spends all day sleeping. And there also isn't any fighting!!

He turns 17 in a week so we'll be having another pizza party for him at home. Better get my ear plugs out.
