Started off in Yucaipa watching Brandon's football practice. He's getting better and better. Last year he was so timid and stood off to the side. Now he's a tackling fool! His first game is next weekend. Hayley will be cheering also. We had a yummy (blechhh) dinner at Taco Bell then headed home to make some signs for our yardsale the next day. We made a killing at our yardsale! We couldn't believe that our sad pile of stuff would get us so much money. Some guy came by and bought my old gold jewelry. Now that I've had time to research how much gold is going for, I was ripped off but at least I got rid of some old stuff collecting dust in my drawer. Knowing me I would have let that stuff sit there for years.
We celebrated Brandon's 11th birthday on Sunday. Took the kids to Pole Position for some go-karting. I didn't ride but this year Hay was tall enough to drive. It was hysterical watching her drive her go-kart. I swear she was driving like an old lady, head at the wheel driving as slow as a snail. I giggled every time she went by. Ended the celebration at Don Jose's for dinner, Best Buy to spend birthday money and at home assembling Kaelyn's new dresser.

We spent today resting from our non-stop, non-sleeping in weekend. I swear I felt like I got hit by a truck after the yardsale. I got to be on call on Sunday night so extra sleep for me! The kids played our new Wii Sports Resort game and the hubs and I assembled Kaelyn's new bookshelf. Too bad this weekend flew by. I'm already counting down the days til my next weekend off.
