Spent a lovely Saturday in California at Adams Motorsports Park watching some drifters then it was back to Griffith Observatory with the kiddies. I'm not really into the car stuff but the hubs enjoyed it. It was kinda dusty and loud but it was neat watching the drivers (after awhile it starts to get boring for me, like watching NASCAR).

it was sooooooo damn cold up there!!! me and the girls got dropped off at the top and the boys had to park 300 miles away since the top lot was full...I left my jacket in the car since there were cars behind us

at Mel's Drive In for a late night dinner...we saw one of the Americal Idol contestants that got kicked off...apparently Alex kicked over the mic while singing an Elton John song

We didn't get a chance to look in the telescope since it was a weekend and the line was really long. We didn't leave the observatory until about 8:30pm and we still had to eat dinner. The kids were about to fall asleep while we were sitting in our booth after we ate. Next time we go it will definitely be during the week.
